When we feel safe
we play

Embodied Play* is a somatic practice in which we explore connection  and  ways to feel safer with other people using embodied tools of breath, sound, movement and touch in  a non verbal experiential immersion on mats.

You will be supported and encouraged to, one breath at a time, one tiny step at a time, explore your impulses, authentic desires and needs, all of what we call Play Material.

All parts of you.

You will be encouraged to move towards what calls you  and to respectfully move away from what is not for you.

Everything during the workshop is an invitation and you are encouraged to do as little or as much as you want and move only as fast as your slowest part.

Your participation and play can look many different ways and can be as unique as you are.

Your Play can be animalistic, primal.

Raw, wild and fierce.

A play-round that electrifies your body and charges  up all your senses.

Or perhaps

Play can be soft and gentle.

A warm pot of relational settling and resting surrender.

A letting go that spurs up from within as you exhale and sink in an embrace.

Play can be all that emerges in the field created between the playmates.

It is you and it is we.

Inspired by and created in the collective space when we all drop in, slow down and focus our attention in the present moment.

When we start noticing  more of what is and what is moving within us.

As you will choose to step courageously on the playground, your Play  will  shift and change forms and shapes alongside you.

Play-rounds can look different but are  beautiful and they are always as they should be.

And here lies one of the keys to making this practice truly empowering.

Choice

As a participant you are invited to choose to step on the mats. To choose to play with all parts of you that show up to accompany you. Even the ones that are  perhaps a bit tender.

If you also choose to explore and play, I would be more than happy to be your guide.

*Embodied Play (previously offered as Ritual Play) is a practice influenced by Ritual Play teachings by Marina Kronqvist, Primal Play by Embodied Intimacy founders  and other coaching /somatic methodologies as well as my own personal development experiencing these tools.
